NUTRITION

As dog owners, it is so important that we strive to use the most nutritious dog food available. Aside from genetics and environment, there are few things that affect a dog’s health more than the food they are given. Did you know that a major cause of hip dysplasia in puppies and dogs is poor nutrition? Have you heard the saying, “You are what you eat?” It’s so true! This also applies to what you feed your pets! These days there are more and more reports of dog and cat food recalls, with the public hardly aware of these events until their pets become sick or worse. This is why we exclusively feed both our dogs and puppies Life’s Abundance Dog Food and supplements. We believe it is the best food on the market.

GROOMING YOUR DOODLE

Goldendoodles are known for their beautiful, soft coats—but keeping them looking and feeling their best does require regular grooming. Because their coats can range from wavy to curly, consistent brushing is important to prevent tangles and matting. We recommend brushing several times a week (or daily for curlier coats) to keep their fur healthy and comfortable.

Routine grooming appointments will help maintain coat length and cleanliness, along with regular baths, nail trims, and ear care. Starting a grooming routine early helps your puppy become relaxed and comfortable with the process, making it an enjoyable experience for both of you. With a little consistency and care, your Goldendoodle will not only look adorable—but feel great, too!
